Loooong rants...

Hey - I havenīt blogged ina while... Just been so occupied with everything.

I got both good and bad news about my eye; Good news is that my vision is normal now (phew!) and the bad is that I have a nice red/bloody dot in my eye. But, Iīd much rather take the dot and see normally! Atleast now, everytime I look into the mirror, I remember to thank for everything that Iīve got... I believe that someone put me trough this so I would realize how fortuned I really am. So, thanks for everything I have. :)

Okay, this following rant has been in my head for couple of days now... Itīs about Canadian hockey fans. Now, I love Canada and Canadian people almost as much I love Finland, BUT... Iīm just really sickīnītired of their attitude towards other hockey teams. They seem to think that their players are above everybody else and thereīs NO doubt that Canada will win this yearīs World Cup of Hockey. Every single forum, message board etc. Iīve been, itīs the same. They hardly ever give credit to other teams or think that teams like our will have any chance at all. And this whole 'Hockey is a Canadian sport'-thing. Okay - you invented it, but GOD thatīs so rude. Hockey should the thing to unite people around the world!

Another thing Iīm so tired of, is how people talk about Team Finland. It is SO obvious that they havenīt really followed the European leagues, since they only think Koivu, Kipper and Jokinen are our only stars. Thatīs bullshit. We got Ville Peltonen (whoīs the best player at the Swiss Elite League), Jukka Hentunen (who plays at Sweden - and playes well), Mikko Eloranta (who plays at our Elite League and is one of the best players there), not to mention all of the players who play at NHL. They roles might be small, but they are the hard-working ones, that never get the respect they need! So, dammit, you can cheer for everyone you ever want - but donīt make the mistake to look down at our team. I have high expectations, but I also know that I wonīt be disapointed at my team if they donīt succeed. No matter what, I will love them and respect them. And if someone has a problem with it, then kiss my ass. Cuz Iīm so FED UP with this shit! Our team would win it all if it was competition in dedication, heart and attitude.

So, yeah. Letīs see what happens at WCoH and then start talking about 'no depth-offence' etc. Okay?

xoxo, Jasmin
