Okies people, my school is officially OVER! I got very nice grades, btw... ;) Go me! So, Iīm on summer vacation, whoo-hoo! We had our 'graduation party' last saturday. The teachers had a song prepared, and they sang it to us... I felt kinda sad, but only because of the people there... Some of the peeps I never see at our free-time! School was like our link... =/ But Iīm gonna try and keep in contact with them!
Phil Coffey, NHL.com says:
"Don't make a mistake and easily dismiss Finland's chances in the 2004 World Cup of Hockey. The Finns have announced a team with strong NHL ties, and boast a coach, Raimo Summanen, who once played in the NHL and is thus very familiar with what it takes to win in on NHL rinks.
The Finns boast a very well-balanced team with plenty of skill and experience. In fact, it's hard to find an overt weakness on the Finnish roster, which has depth in addition to talent."
What a smart guy! ^_^ Okay okay... I agree with him, we do have very solid and talented bunch of players, that I know have the desire to play for Finland. Thatīs the great thing about our boys; they want to play and they will work their butts off! The Lions have always been a team.
So, I think itīs pretty much clear that Jere isnīt playing at WCH. And it SUCKS. How double-standarded (is that a word??) can NHL be?!? Yes, let Canada play with a player who killed his teammate in a car accident or a goalie who tried to bribe police officer and then attacked him! Thatīs alright, because itīs CANADA and NHL fears Canada far too much to be fair. But letīs not let Finlandīs Karalahti play, because he didnīt obey our master rules and finish his drug rehabilitation in USA. It isnīt enough that he took responsability of his actions and didnīt play for a year... And letīs forget that heīs been clear for the past years! Yes, letīs do that.
Blah, I love NHL and I love Canada, but BLAH! Honestly, NHL is just bitter that Jere didnīt bow to them. Heīs really great player and a GREAT guy! He had problems, GET OVER IT.
... Pffft.
The Flames owned Tampa once again, yay! Two more victories and thatīs it! I heard Kipper was great... as he always is! Yet again, he bounced back after that 4-1 loss and kept his goal empty! I <3 him! He will bring the Stanley Cup in to Calgary...
^_^ I love this quote: If you wanna win, hire a Finn.
*COUGH*kipper,jokinen,peltonen,koivu,nurminen,etc.*COUGH*
Okies... I hope tomorrow will be sunny, I want to get a good tan this summer! Today itīs been raining... But Iīm gonna go now, Angel is on. See ya later, imaginary readers!
xoxo, Jasmin
Ps. Still liking Mats Sundin... Heīs great. :)
