"The Calgary Flames took a 3-2 advantage in the Western Conference Finals when they shut out the Sharks 3-0 Monday night in at the HP Pavilion in San Jose. Jarome Iginla, Marcus Nilson and Craig Conroy provided the scoring for Calgary, while Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 19 shots to record his fourth shutout of the postseason."

Yay! GO Flames! Just one more, one more! I´m so proud of Kipper, no pucks behind his back tonite, baby! :) Go Miikka, you rule. Seriously, would Flames be here without their amazing goalie?! I say no. He has worked his butt off and now Flames are on the top again. But I gotta say, the rest of the team is looking good too. :)
Oh, and another one I´m proud of...
"The Flames went up 2-0 just 2:02 later when Marcus Nilson buried his third goal of the postseason at 8:29. While Nilson got credit for the goal, Ville Nieminen was really the one responsible. The pesky left wing broke into the zone down the right-wing boards with Nicholas Dimitrakos draped all over him. Dimitrakos' attentions cost him a high-sticking penalty. On the delayed call, Nieminen continued to hold onto the puck and made a beautiful move at the top of the right circle to spin away from Dimitrakos and make a perfect pass down the middle to Nilson, who one-timed a laser past Nabokov high to the stick side."
Whee, go Niemo! You better come home at World Cup boy... He´s kinda like Ville Peltonen; makes all the work and lets others score and take the credit. Oh, what men... ;) And Niemo is just so cute, when he´s smiling, constantly! It just goes to show how much he loves to play and how honoured he is to play there. Aww... And I heard he sang along with the Canadian national anthem. He´s sucha sweetheart!
I have another grazy dream. I´d want to be a beat writer to a NHL team! Beat writers follow their teams almost 24/7 and report from games and practices... Omg, I would <3 to live like that. Hmm... Maybe I should try and find out what kinda courses they have in journalism around here... I mean I´m so young now, but like when I´m 18 or something, I could study journalism. Cuz that sounds like a dream come true... *sigh*
We played three fucking long hours of baseball today. It SUCKED major of time. I hate P.E. when it´s all about baseball, baseball and baseball. Acctually it´s not baseball, cuz we don´t play that in here, but kind of a variation of it. I can´t explain it, sorry... But I know that the 'real' baseball is MUCH more fun.
Just 30 minutes ago, me and my dad went crocery shopping, and he bought me ProHockey´s latest issue! Yay, thanks dad! :) It had a big poster of Thornton on the other side and Brasher on the other. I think I´m gonna pin Thornton up against my wall, lmao... ;) And speaking of hockey magazines, mum ordered Jääkiekkolehti to me (translation: Icehockey magazine)! Even more YAY! No I don´t have to go out and buy it, instead it comes right to me! Happy girlie here...
I feel a bit sick. I´m kinda worried that I might have something, cuz as I said, we played baseball for three hours and it was FREEZING outside! It rained and the wind was like... from a very cold hell or something. But the point is, that I was totally frozen! And I do get sick pretty easily... Blah.
Well, my non-existing friends reading this and Diaryland, have a nice afternoon. I´m going to crawl between the blankets, read ProHockey and drink something warm! xoxoxo
Ps. I would also like to wish Toni Lydman a speedy recovery! Get well soon! :)
